idk, because some of the breeders seem very self aware and transparently in it for the money, so it's not like they even pretend to care about their dogs :(
i think there ought to be some kind of law dealing with breeding though, like if a dog is naturally born w/ a congenital deformity and someone wants to look after it and give it as comfortable a life as possible that's all fine and good but this kind of deliberate extreme breeding for aesthetics that is guaranteed to cause suffering and early death is inherently abusive imo. some of these dogs can't even stand up for very long, never mind live an active life :(
